The ELEMENTec specialist group with the two competence groups “Door Engineering” and “Installer Safety Engineering” invited to the second specialist group conference. The main focus was on networking and the goals for 2024.
Almost all member companies of the ELEMENTec specialist group accepted the invitation and met for the conference in Kassel in December. Above all, the event served to promote cooperation, networking and the integration of hardware and building components manufacturers. A workshop was also held to further develop segment-specific door solution packages. The conference thus became an exchange of experience and knowledge between the competence groups.
In addition to networking, the main items on the agenda were the need for training, planning software and property information. As a concrete measure, training courses are now being offered by a specialist lawyer in the areas of supplementary contract management, contracts and obstruction notices.
High demand was registered for planning programs. The participants were therefore presented with options for using a planning program and property research. The aim of the specialist group is to use calculation and planning software to simplify and bundle the link between the data of hardware packages from the industry and the merchandise management of member companies.
