Popular platform for expert dialog

A well-founded overview of trends and the latest product developments, plenty of space for networking and a relaxed, almost informal atmosphere: the fourth E/D/E construction equipment marketplace in Fulda in northern Hesse exceeded expectations. Over 160 participants and 35 E/D/E suppliers used the popular event platform as an information exchange and to discuss current specialist topics.

The format of a get-together with the character of a trade fair once again proved to be effective. “This allowed all visitors to set their personal priorities, obtain comprehensive information on their areas of interest at the stands of the respective suppliers and make new contacts,” explains Ralf Stiegler, Head of Suppliers / Product Groups and Sales Concepts Construction Equipment / MIETEplus / Welding Technology at E/D/E.

Opportunity to network

The previous evening’s program at the Q-Alm in Fulda offered plenty of time for discussions and expanding personal networks. As the previous construction equipment marketplace was held three years ago, the participants made particularly good use of the opportunity to exchange ideas this time. “Events such as the construction equipment marketplace therefore make a significant contribution to strengthening the cohesion between our members and suppliers,” continues Stiegler.

Overview of trends and products

The following day, with its trade fair-like concept at the Esperanto Hotel Fulda, provided a wealth of information. Both the construction supplies sales group and the construction equipment professionals were represented here with their respective requirements. The participating sales staff from the trade were able to obtain information on a wide range of topics, from services for construction equipment and machines to supply aspects. The suppliers’ product presentations also offered the opportunity to pick up and test equipment for themselves – after all, the haptic experience plays a role that should not be underestimated.

Visitors and suppliers were highly satisfied in unison. “We felt very comfortable at Marktplatz Baugeräte and enjoyed the atmosphere among customers and suppliers. Once again, we realized that personal communication cannot be replaced by any digital format,” says Eckhard Brosch, Managing Director of Idealspaten-Bredt GmbH & Co KG (Herdecke): “Constructive discussions and good engagement during the marketplace made for an entertaining time, which is certainly also thanks to the good preparation by Mr. Stiegler and his team.”

Meeting the needs of the market

The concept of the construction equipment marketplace has once again paid off, concludes Stiegler: “The event format makes it possible to better identify the individual needs of our members. This means we can always draw valuable inspiration for the further development of our offerings from the experiences of the trade.”
